The pictures speak for themselves. Splendid on the Lugano lake from here! Nice place to relax and great views. Cool on a hot day. Amazing to the beautiful lake of Lugano. Only 10 minutes from the bus stop. Finicular is too expensive, You can use the bus to reach Bre Pease. ( half price! ) And from there it is 10 min climbing. The is great. If you drive, be prepared. The road is great at the beginning but gradually gets narrower and narrower until it's basically a single gravel lane with turnout's. You also have to contend with the usual insane bicyclists and some pedestrians. My intent was to take the road to the end but shortly after this viewpoint it gets extremely narrow with no visible turnouts (see pics) - so I stopped here. Nice views. The town has a huge parking lot but the machine only takes coins, which I didn't have. There is also a very nice public toilet behind the church next to the cemetery. We wandered around the town a bit, which is interesting, but didn't take the stairs due to the lack of coins. Awesome of the Lugano lake and all the other mountains!! We stayed at the top of the mountain and it was 3 min walk! So we were waking up with the amazing every morning during our holiday! 🤩 And everyday it looked different! You can’t get enough. TIP: On the other side of the mountain their is a train that can take you down the mountain! Super breathtaking! Lots of stairs but since there’s such a nice surrounding you, you won’t really feel it.
