Parking lot with access to trailheads through one of the most stunning nature preserves I have seen in the Netherlands. Absolutely beautiful and a calming place to walk. Mostly tree covered with a mix of pine and broad leave trees and some farmland in between. Each trail has its own color and length varies somewhere between 5 and 12km. Trails are marked and sometimes cross a road. I did miss signs along the trail for the parking lot, so finding my way back was a little challenging. Free parking, no public restrooms. Trails are unpaved so not suitable for wheelchair users. Natuurpoort Wouwse Plantage omvat een ruime, met zorg ingerichte parkeerplaats met laadpaal en een activiteitenterrein. Er zijn 10 wandelroutes uitgezet in de directe omgeving van Wouwse Plantage. Er loopt o.a. van de vanuit de natuurpoort een wandelpad achter langs drie leemputten, via het Nieuwe Wereld Bos naar het Landgoed. In de omgeving van de natuurpoort zijn horecagelegenheden aanwezig, waar ook informatie over de wandelroutes verkrijgbaar is. De Natuurpoort wordt beheerd door de stichting Natuurpoort Wouwse Plantage Dit is een leuk wandelgebied, iets verder door (na de steenoven) is een heerlijk speelbos voor honden. Goed afgezet en gefaciliteerd... top voor als je hond nog niet 100% betrouwbaar is los te lopen. Mooie routes om te wandelen en leuke bezienswaardigheden voor groot en klein.
