We came here during mid afternoon and the place was almost empty but was one of the very few that was open. The prices were expensive for what we thought and for the city. The food was very tasty but just lacked a bit of salt. I got the vol au vent and it was huge so it paid the price. The service was friendly and professional. Just as expected. The inside looked cosy and inviting. Perfect bistro lunch. All parts of the classic french dishes were freshly made to a high standard. Gluten free options easily substituted. Would happily return for dinner when next in Kolding. I ordered an hamburger which was overstuffed with salad. The meat per se was and fries as well. Friendly staff. Prices are good, not overly expensive. Included is water and bread with a special salsa. It was a very nice experience after a family dinner at a scandic hotel. The staffs was very professional and nice. Not like in scandic where the waitor was a lier, smell so bad and trie to make a pass to my daughter toucher her on her sholder, arms.... When we were there first time, it was experience, but unfortunately we couldn't say the same yesterday, as we just wasn't sat. Very passive, sad-looking waitress didn't let us to choose the table, with no other options beside small crumbled tables in between of other sits, while absolutely whole place was empty. We are glad we could find another great dining option, but unfortunately we won't be coming back here, even though we thought it will be as as the first time. A very fine experience. Waiter was super nice, and we got to try various things (caviar, oisters, etc.) fairly cheaply. Overall a cosy vibe and a place to eat. My wife and I had yet another great meal at this restaurant this afternoon. The two course meal was outstanding, the dessert was a whole ‘nother kind of good. We have been going to this restaurant off and on over the past two years. Always great (and friendly) customer service plus we have never had a bad meal… the food has never disappointed.
