The fact that the lake was at 2 minutes walk was great Beautiful facility, friendly staff, very accommodating to needs of the guests. Great organization to support. Will visit again. Staying in the villa of the castle grounds. Having a conference in the castle. Food here breakfast through dinner is great and different every day. Salmon, kishe, roast pork, salads, etc. Service is excellent. Staff are so kind and helpful. Don't hesitate to get a milkshake at the Café. Deliciously American style, served up by Stefan. Only 2 or 3 Euro. Breathtaking place, love the scenery, the lakes view is to die for. Schloss Heroldek – ein Ort für Ruhe oder auch sportliche Aktivitäten • Sehr gute Lage: In 5–7 Minuten erreicht man vom Hotel aus den privaten Strand (nicht rollstuhlgerecht). • Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in 1–2 km Entfernung. • Traumhafte Umgebung: Direkt am Millstätter See, umgeben von Bergen und grünen Wäldern, mit frischer und sauberer Luft. • Aktivitäten: Ideal zum Biken, Wandern und Schwimmen. Am Privatstrand stehen auch Paddles und Kajaks zur Verfügung. Am Schliss gibt es Möglichkeiten für Tischtennis, Badminton und Ähnliches. • Personal: Sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. • Ambiente: Man spürt die Geschichte des Hotels hautnah. Die Einrichtung ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, vermittelt aber viel Gemütlichkeit und ein Gefühl wie Zuhause. Kulturelle und sportliche Highlights in der Nähe: • „Granatium“ – die größte Edelsteinmine Europas (man darf gefundene Steine mitnehmen) • Wanderungen, z. B. zur Alexanderhütte oder durch die Schluchten (inkl. Nachtwanderung mit Beleuchtung) • Bootsfahrt am See mit Blick auf die Alpen • Gut geeignet auch für Gruppen, Jugend- und Kinderfreizeiten • Sichere Umgebung: regelmäßige Polizeipatrouillen, auch am Wasser Vielen Dank – wir kommen gerne wieder! My family had a fantastic time. The conference was a perfect location and couldn't h a ve asked for a better staff..very accommodating, very friendly, and loved being there. We were there in the summer with no A/C, but provided fans which helped make our stay even better. The kids loved playing at the docks and enjoying their WORLD FAMOUS MILKSHAKES 😋😋😋!!! It is sad to see this being sold as its been an awesome conference center. It would also be a cool BnB. It also has a waterfront deck and swimming area. The Millstatt area is gorgeous and relaxing and great to day trip out of. :) Prekrasan dvorac, nažalost zatvoren za obilazak, dostupan samo za privatne grupe i evente. Može se prošetati i obići izvana. Predivan pogled na jezero. Iznad dvorca nalazi se i vidikovac do kojeg vodi staza za koju treba 20 tak min uspona. Off the Hook!
