The amount of obsession over lemons is insane. Just love it! europe's biggest collection of biological fruits. enjoy an interesting guided tour with zitrusbauer michael ceron. Funny name if you speak English. Lovely place to go the beach in the middle of the Austrian mountain. Super fun attraction! This was a cute little detour during our time in Villach. Absolutely worth stopping in for 30 minutes on a rainy day. Come here to discover the wonderful world of citrus! An amazing range from all over the world is found here in beautiful Villach. There is also a paid Balsamic Vinegar tasting which is perfectly curated and conducted by the in-house expert along with an amazing and diverse range of products from cookbooks, soaps, skincare products, marmalade, olive oils, vinegars and syrups! The lady working in the shop was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. She introduced us to a variety of products — from honey, iced tea, and soap to limoncello — and let us sample some truly delicious items. 🍋🍋🍋 I’ve rarely experienced such warmth and hospitality in shops across Carinthia. 🙏 The limoncello tasted even better than the one I previously had from the Amalfi Coast. ☺️ The lemon trees were beautiful, and their blossoms had the sweetest scent. 🍋🍋🍋 We were surprised to arrive not in a garden, but literally in a shop selling plants. The so-called garden is nothing else than rows of plants in pots. If you expected to be in a garden surrounded by trees, you will be disappointed. You literally pay for visiting their pots, 5€. By the way, sold at very high prices compared to other nurseries. The varieties of plants do not justify such prices. If I wanted to go to a garten center, two are 5mins by car. A tree nursery like this one should not make people pay to literally see plants for sale. Very disappointed, and misleading advertisement. It’s a beautiful garden, The owner is so friendly. If you would like to buy some products, there is a test for everything. Great place, interesting and great products.
