We had our wedding over there and the service was bad even before starting, missing staff, lying about available rooms and all the usual. The cherry on top of the cake came one year after, when I wanted to suprise with my spouse with a certain kind of menu in order to celeberate our time together. Little did we know, that after we made our reservation they haven't even locked it in, the dish suddenly became unavailable and we were left staring in disbelief. I do appreciate the scenery but it's one beautiful apple outside with rotten maggots on the inside and that's all due to the dreadful service. I wasn't lodged here, so I can't comment on the rooms, but I had a Sunday visit with my dad. We went fishing in one of the ponds they have next to the resort, and although the experience was and relaxing, we couldn't get one single fish to bite between the two of us, in about six hours of trying. The fact that there are weeping willows on the edges of the water is very nice, the provide shade so you don't have to cook slowly in the sunlight waiting for the fish to bite. Later we had lunch at the resort restaurant, where the fish was okay - no more, no less. The service was nice, although the setup of the restaurant makes it a bit difficult for the staff to keep an eye on the patrons, so it might take a while to interact with your server. Nothing too irritating though. Even though the property looks great, the service was underwhelming. Taking our drink order took half and hour, which was quite unpleasant considering the hot day we visited this place. The food took more than an hour to arrive, while we stayed at the table with no drinks because nobody came by to order again. The food wasn't great, especially considering the time we had to wait for it. I won't recommend ordering cocktails there either. The place is beautiful, there is a lake on the property, too. What makes me take away 1 star is that the serving was painfully slow. We had to wait way too much for our waiter to show up. He was helpful and by the way. Waiting time for food and drink is way too long. A lot of the staff is not properly trained and it seems they are missing a floor manager or somebody to coordinate them. Some dishes were ok but stay away from the Camelot salad if you really enjoy salads, total disappointment. It has a view and the property looks well maintained but management could improve the staff situation both in the kitchen and the bar/serving area. Low quality of hotel rooms. We received dark room with two roof windows. Room good for one night stay not for a few days. The hotel staff does not speak even basic English. The food is extremely good, location is very beautiful - I especially recommend the outside terrace on the lake,it's a beautiful scenery. It's also very that you can walk around the lake and relax on one of the colorful benches after eating. We had some issues with the final check but they were very prompt, diplomatic and efficient in resolving the issue and I applaud them for this!
