The site has two large meadows for tents and some cabins. Overall, the site is very well maintained. The two toilets and two showers are clean and regularly checked. A cooking hut with refrigerator and dishes as well as a washing machine are available. A downgrade is due to the fact that the night's rest was not respected during our visit. Drinking Latvians talked loudly until 5 am and listened to music. The fact that no one complained was probably because no one wanted to mess with the group. Besides, cars were still driving through the square at night. Nice place. But donot come the before the ecotrail. Loud till 3am! Actually upon arriving we got lost as it got dark by 4pm and we are not used to this in our country. We called the owner and she really helped and she further left a bag of charcoal and fuel to make a bbq. The cottage was very comfortable and great with switched on heaters. Lovely place to stay away from the loudy cities. Recommended from Malta. This place has a great location surrounded by beautiful nature. There's a small shop where you can buy essentials, including firewood. However, there are not enough toilets, which can be inconvenient. Had fun with my colleges, did rafting, close to river. Nice houses with good beds. Thank you! Amazing view! Fresh air! We slept well! Even breakfast! Organisation good! 👍 Perfect place to stay for a weekend! We will definitely come back here in winter time! 😊 Nice location, clean facilities and friendly personnel. Unfortunately I was kept awake by loud neighbours who were drinking and playing music. There is no one to supervise the at and the given telephone numbers were unreachable at night. Beautiful location, but if you want any sleep, don't come here... We stayed three nights, first they started dismantling a floating picknick area around 10 pm, luckily this didn't take to long, but a cozy around the fire isn't so cozy with the background of metal scraping. Second evening the 'forest house' and the sauna was rented out to a group who played very loud and sat outside making a lot of noise, including some very inappropriate sounds... They finally went to sleep around 1.30 am. We thought we just had some bad luck, since non of the other reviews say anything about noise, so we decided to stay one more night. That was a bad idea. Another group had rented the 'forest house' and was playing very loud music, so we went to the reception to ask if there was some kind of policy at the (it was still early, so there was no problem yet, but we wanted to make sure we would be able to sleep later on). They said they are not a silent camping, but people are expected to be quiet at 11 pm, and they would go say something if the group was still making after that. Since we think 11 pm is okay, we went back to our tent, and indeed at around 11 pm the stopped and it was quiet. One thing the reception forgot to mention was that the sauna, including OUTDOOR deck and hot tub was rented out to another group FROM MIDNIGHT 'TILL THE MORNING. Needless to say they made and played ALL NIGHT. It was so bad that we actually moved our entire tent at 1 am as far away from them as we could, and still we could clearly hear all the noise. People at the reception said: 'they rented it all night, nothing we can do'. So the makes you pay to sleep there, and then does everything possible to make sure you can't sleep. If this is how it always goes, they should put on their website that they are a party (which the people at the reception admitted was the case), it would have saved us from some sleepless nights. After a lot of complaining, we got our money back from one night.
