Ovde se može videti i jedan običaj sasvim jedinstven u pravoslavnom svetu: prema tradiciji, svake godine na Veliki Četvrtak meštani okolnih sela ovde donose “Ratarske sveće” teške čak 50 kilograma, napravljene od čistog pčelinjeg voska. Ove ogromne sveće pale se samo o određenim praznicima i to samo ispred ikona Hrista i Bogorodice. Beautiful old with some really unique frescoes. It is usually combined with near by Trsic so it is easy to visit both places at once. It is well preserved and surounding is clean and maintaned. A monastary from 16th century. Very well preserved. The frescoes are originals from the Obrenovic era. They very polite here and you can find Vuk Karadzic's museum in the complex as well. A 700 year old holy place. As soon as you enter the forest you will find peace landing in your soul and time will stop. Highly recommend to take a walk in the forest path after visiting the monastery.
