The terrace is beautiful, lots of flowers and view of the castle and the water… very comfortable seating in the lower part of the terrace. Very good service. We tried their cheese balls and they were delicious, better than we tried elsewhere in the town. Delicious Caesar salads & beer! Retro music as radio tuned into Radio Sussex, England!! Fun quirky pub, right by castle most. Perfect lunch stop. Soup was good. Kebab not the best one. Pasta also not the best. Beer and coctails excellent. They have a really great place & the outside terrace is nice during the summer. But..they lack service orientation which is sad. Food was average good, but it would be nice to have a waiter to bring the menus or even take the orders from the table or was this a normal way there? Wonderful place near the sea and Kuressaare Castle, great atmosphere and classic dining foods that you know from your childhood! My husband and I went there to eat. Terrible service. We ordered two drinks and two meals. We got the drinks and one meal. The waiter didn't apologize but just cursed at us like we had lost our order somewhere. I was afraid he would attack us. I don't recommend eating there. Don’t go here for food! It’s a nice place to have few drinks and enjoy the view but food is shockingly horrible! I tried pasta and first time I saw someone served burnt pasta! I wonder how they managed to burn the pasta Me and my partner wished to treat our two friends while visiting Saaremaa, our friend strongly recommended this place, especially for the portions, we obliged. REVIEW: LONG story short: The service was really bad, almost non existent. The waiter in charge was rude and less than happy to be there, which he didn’t fail mention to us. The food itself was fine, I had the smoked cheese soup and my partner had the pork with bacon wich were quite fine but the fish and chips were disappoiting + the portion was small. The “fish and chips” was made with trout which was a first for everyone involved. I wouldn’t go there again. Choose another place to spend your money, because they really dont appreciate it. Atmosphere gets a 3 because of the beautiful castle side location.
