Perfect distance from parking if you have young kids with you. This is s great area to for for a little walk/hike. There are multiple trails and roads that take you to the different cabins, viewpoints and lakes. The area is well kept with plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view or have a bbq. Appelsintoppen itself is a 6 storey tower with a 360 view. You can see parts of Sarpsborg but mostly forest and the lake. Definitely worth a trip if you're looking for something to do on a fine day.
