I cannot say that the food was good. I love to be at the Big Fish... The place is amazing.... And the food is perfect... Very and the waiters are so kind. In a very hot day in Norway, the terrace was so to stay outside. The prices are quite normal. I will be back as soon as I can!!!! Utrolig god mat og Vi skulle feire en bursdag og bestilte derfor bord fire dager i forveien. Vi fortalte at vi skulle ha med hund og fikk da vite at de har to «hundebord» ute. Begge var ledige for lørdag 17/8 så vi var sikret et av dem. Møtte opp på lørdag til tiden og hadde fått bord inne og der var det ikke lov med hund. Så for å løse dette hentet de to bord med ulik høyde og størrelse. Det ene bordet fikk vi beskjed om at vippet så vi måtte være forsiktige!?! Den ene servitøren var direkte uhøflig og sur. Vi spiste svineknoke og og alle var fornøyd med maten. Two bad tasting pølse (grilled weenies) with over-salted french fries was 149 NOK!! Ham and mushroom was very low quality as well, and it had approx 4 mm height! That was 212 NOK! We did not get utensils just for 1 person despite going there 4 persons. The only positive was the free water with ice. We had a better experience 2 years ago, but this visit made me not to return in the future. Veldig god & chips og hyggelig betjening. The restaurant is located close to the sea which i guess is the source of the delivered which makes it really fresh. I ordered a and chips 🍟 and i really enjoyed it👌🐟😊 The prices are quite affordable, but the place might be a bit busy in several parts of the day. The waiters were really kind and helpfull. The only thing i personally didnt like was the thickness of the pizza🍕, it really reminded just an usuall tortilla which didn't made it so pleasant. But if the restaurant would work on this detail and get it better my recommendation would be 5 ⭐ Super seafood and great atmosphere. But the is not worth it. Tasted like a tortilla base. Vi kommer garantert tilbake! Big disappointment. The menu is misleading, an example are the «Asian Clams» with NORWEGIAN clams. Prices are absolutely horrendous, 45kr for a small juice box, 70kr for a monster, 200kr for a pint. I ordered the hamburger, which had almost no flavour at all. Greasy patty, with lots of hardened grease clumps. No dipping sauce for the fries either. Staff was fine, but i should mention the drinks were served in cans, which we had to open and pour ourselves. The restaurant itself was okay, but the prices did not meet the standards. During our stay nearby the town of Skjærhalden, we planned an evening to go for dinner at Big Fish. The day before I send an email to the restaurant, asking them if they could prepare a small dish for my daughter with crab. She wanted to try crab, however crab is only on the menu within a two person menu with sea food. The evening we arrived the waiters and owner/manager all knew about my email. They managed to get two crab claws for my daughter to try. For free! The rest of the evening we ordered other dishes and all was very tasteful and of size. All in all a great restaurant with people that offer and making you feel at home. Menu is with something to eat for everyone. Prices are also very reasonable.
