Boställets wood oven bakery

Linköping, Sweden Bakery

One of the Best Places To Visits in Maspelösa Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. After going here for many years I am lowering my rating from 4 to 2 because the place is not as good as it used to be. The VERY mediocre coffee is served from a thermos and the prices are going up radically. A simple toast and "coffee" now cost 140 kr. The atmosphere is everything here, this quality will not work anywhere else. Very nice authentic wood oven bakery in the middle of wide open agrarian fields with great home made cinnamon rolls, pastries and breads. Either to eat in the cafe itself or to take home. Simple lunch options like soups and sandwiches as well. Worth the drive out there. This place is a serious contender for best Kanelbulla in Sweden. But that comes second first and foremost it's a bakery that bakes some of the best breads you'll ever get to sample. Local grains from organic farms in the area are used in woodfired ovens to bake bread that would make in capital city Noveau artisinal bakery blush in jealousy. Pick up some homemade jam in their shop and your good to go. Oh, the settings are so idyllic that Astrid Lindgren herself might have write the fairytale. We got the sugar bun right from the oven and it was the best that I’ve had in my l-i-f-e. You can really taste that it is baked with love and real butter. The surroundings are beautiful. What a sweet place. Lots of places to sit outside, good local food and service. Great food at reasonable prices, most, if not all, produce is from local actors. The atmosphere is super cosy with luscious trees, not many roads close by, rustic seating, and chickens. The bread they serve is great, which is unsurprising as they are a bakery. For fika I would recommend the different types of buns, the cheesecake and similar left some things to be desired. Charming cafe with fresh dishes, homemade baked goods and a lovely little shop. Had a Greek salad and a pesto toastie. Lovely indoor and outdoor seating options. Would definitely come back if in the area again. It's just a happy bakery and cafe. Things that should taste like butter do, things that should have that nice sugary kick do, and the atmosphere is what you want it to be during fika. The lunch menu isn't complicated or very long, because this place knows exactly what it wants to be: tasty and cozy. Take the ride out there.
