We came to Jaškovo with the only purpose to visit Restaurant Žganjer. The service, the atmosphere and the food were exceptional. For 600 grams of tasty lamb meat, home made potatoes, tomato and spring onion salad, 3dl of house red wine, and a home made desert with blackberries and raspberries we paid 30 euros for two persons. The ever so nice and helpful waitress made the whole evening even better. Would recommend! This place has a really nice big terrace with beautiful decorations. The staff is very friendly and polite! The lamb was excellent and I loved the Katarina Zrinski cake. I was only a bit surprised by the price of the beer, it was the highest I've paid in Croatia so far, 5 EUR for a 0,5 L beer. the best restaurant!! cozy atmosphere, very good food, very friendly staff, equipped rooms, wonderful city! I recommend it! A cozy hotel with an opulent breakfast and excellent food overall. The staff were incredibly kind and unshakably calm. We truly felt welcome there. Completely disappointed with the food and arrogant waiter with long sideburns. Came back during a repeat visit after 6 years with a party of 5 and had a terrible experience.
