We stopped by for lunch on the way to Zagreb and were pleased we did! It was a busy Saturday lunch but luckily we got a spot on the sun at the front. The menu has plenty of options, though more limited for vegetarians. Saying that my cheese sandwich and chips hit the spot and my husband really enjoyed his cevapi in flatbread. Good value too - though there was a genuine error with the bill which was quickly rectified. The food was incredible. We stopped by on the way from Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes and glad we did. It was one of the best meals we've eaten in Croatia. As we pulled into the parking lot we saw that they were roasting suckling pigs on the grill. So that is what I decided to order. It came with some potatoes and a salad. My brother got a pork chop that was not nearly as good as my dish of pulled pork. If you are in the area you will not regret stopping by. If you can adjust your schedule do so to be there at lunch or dinner time it will be worth the effort. Stopped here for lunch on the way to Plitvice Park because I saw the barbequing whole pig and lamb. Ordered one pork and one lamb set. 300g of meat with a generous portion of roast potato, with a nice simple salad. Tasty but unfortunately the meat was cold, but still worth trying. Would have been great of the meat was hot. This place is the reason why i get off the higway and drive with old road when going to Dalmacija. Daily fresh roasted pork and lamb done as it should be. There are also other interesting looking meals on the menu but always going for the roasted ones :) Staff is really nice and helpfull. On our way back we stopped at Savić by chance. In front of the restaurant lambs and piglets were turning on the spit, the smell was irresistible. The lamb – hot, tender, delicious, just as it should be. Generous portions, fast service, pleasant terrace. Well worth stopping by and enjoying! Great place to stop on the main road. A lot of space. Service and food are great. Portions are large and prices are more than correct for the amount and quality of food. Good food, super friendly staff, close to the road so very convenient. Recommended! On the route from Karlovac to Plitvice lakes, just before Rastoke waterfalls (and my buddy's house;) one of those places...easy parking, every day lamb and pork on the spit, simple and perfect. The service had been fast, staff super kind and relaxed. I get hungry just remembering it;) Very good hotel, I stayed for 2 days in January this year and the heating system in the room was very good, the room was of course very clean, just like the rest of the restaurant; which serves delicious meals and breakfast. Also, really really kind and helpful people over there.
