Sidewalks disconnected in areas requiring walking past park vehicles on road traffic roadways to approach area. Cigarettes and garbage scattered in many areas and no visible cleaners or maintenance workers seen. Lifeguards present however they say it is not their job to collect trash or clean toilets. It’s a good place to stay if you want to disconnect from city, you got a big Alcampo supermarket and Ikea at only 10 min in car with natural black sand. We've been there several times and couldn't swim since the waves were to strong. We still liked hanging out since it felt really 'local' with nice atmosphere. Usualmente las olas son grandes y hay unos árboles y está bien para disfrutar la sombra también. The El Bufadero is WELL worth a visit in la Garita. We walked along the seafront path all the way to Playa de Melenara. It was a nice long walk in the sunshine.
