Most popular of its Paseo de Canarias. There're couple of decent free parking areas. I recommend visiting. A small but with several places to admire. Benches, fountains, a presentation of the Canary Islands along the long street, a square overlooking the coast. I suggest visiting early to take a walk without the tourist crowds. Nice little town, few cafes, waterfall, amazing and unique designs, few bits n bobs to see and explore Lovely to see the water running down the steps,& the lovely tiled mosaic seats next to the wall, then just up from the water you have more steps with a model & information about all the individual canary islands. Lovely church & views as well. Very picturesque little village 🤩 Great place, stopped here sadly for a short while only. Church was closed due to a festival. A charming small town, whee you can admire beautiful ceramic benches and colorful tile murals. Another iconic attraction is the water cascade on Paseo de Canarias. A peaceful and authentic Canarian atmosphere. Definitely a must see in Gran Canaria, away from the tourist spots. Famous for Firgas water. The church here and its surrounding buildings are amazing. It’s full of history and architecture. The main piece, I think is the stairs in the that have sculptures of the Canary Islands leading up to the top. Unique and brilliant craftsmanship. 100% recommend to see this 👌🏻 One of the moste interesting and beautiful towns of Gran Canaria. The charm of Firgas is unique, it is lovely even with the clouds abive, even in the sunshine. Great canarian atmosphere and great time spent there. Sehr schöner kleiner Ort mit malerischen Wasserfall. A lovely little up in the mountains at the top of the island. The main feature of this place is the 30 metre central waterfall running down the street and beautiful blue and yellow tiles depicting all the towns of Gran Canaria and what their main features are, for example, Maspaloma's picture is of the sand dunes. Furthermore, at the top of the waterfall are more tiles and rock sculptures depicting the canarian islands. One tip, however, is to take a jacket or jumper in the cooler months and even an umbrella as the climate differs alot from the south of the island. There are some shops and cafe's close to the waterfall and most importantly some free public toilets just to the right at the bottom of the waterfall. There's also a free car park just as you enter the on your right. Definitely worth a visit. Good place to stop for a short visit. The cathedral is impressive and also the well which is the touristic attraction of the town. It's a nice little village up in the hills with some nice driving roads on the way and some really stunning views. The only disappointment was the waterfalls were turned off and almost all shops etc were closed even though it was the middle of June. I would not suggest paying the £30 plus euros for a trip up there but if you have a car it's worth a drop in on the way up into the mountains. Nice little on the north side of the island know for its island panels in the middle of one of its streets - Paseo de Canarias. Easy to walk around. Parking can be difficult to find.
