Nice place to see and to find out how they make a rum product, Destillerie, sorting and cleaning the liquid alcohol. The guide explains and tells all aspects of production. There is a live line of production, so it's a real working production process with all smells, notice and environment around it. At the end of the walk there is a shop where all their products are available to buy and some are available to try out as well. If you have time, it is worth to visit. The English guide did a good job to explain the history , how the factory works. How the celebrities did the barrels are very interesting! Most important, very generous portion for the liquor tasting! We had such a good experience! If you're a rum enthusiast or simply a curious traveler, Destilerías Arehucas is a must-visit! We arrived around noon and bought reasonably priced tickets at the counter. The ticket includes a guided and a of 4 types of rum, though we ended up sampling 8 by sharing – a great idea if you're visiting with someone! The was perfectly timed at about 30 minutes. Our guide, a lovely and very knowledgeable young woman, walked us through the fascinating process of rum production and shared the rich history of the distillery. It was incredible to see the hundreds of barrels, some even signed by celebrities. The area at the end was the highlight! Sampling the different flavours was fun, and the shop offers bottles at great prices. Overall, it’s a fantastic experience – engaging, educational, and delicious! Easy walking distance from the town. Lovely, knowledgeable - took about 30 mins and includes 4 tastings per person for €9. Tours in English and Spanish. I recommend the 18 year old rum. Love the idea of bottling your own rum if you buy the 2005 speciality one. Really worth spending a morning or afternoon here. is really informative, history is fascinating and at the end really worth it. I’d suggest this is one of the best days out on the island. This rum factory is fantastic. The guided is very interesting and exciting. You can taste 4 rums on the menu or, for an extra charge, limited edition rums as well. I recommend trying Captain Kidd, a 30-year-old rum that is very tasty (+7euro a serving). It is definitely worth coming here if you are visiting the island. The guide was really kind, humorous and good-natured :) What a great experience and tour!! For €8 you get an informative from the guides, we had Lis who was fantastic, very informative and a good laugh as well. Included in the you aslo get 4 samples of your choice of the various products that they sell which is fantastic!! There is also a gift shop where the prices are very reasonable and i would recommend buying any of the rum products from their own shop as its cheaper than shops in the rest of the island. A fantastic experience, even for those who aren’t rum enthusiasts! Tours run every 30 minutes and cost just €8 per person, including a session at the end. Be sure to bring water, as no snacks or refreshments are provided between the generous pours of rum and liqueurs. During the tasting, each guest receives four glasses and can select their preferred options. Afterward, there’s a gift shop where you can purchase both mini and full-sized bottles of their products. Overall, I highly recommend visiting the distillery!
