Very castle, not so impressive as others in Belgium, but well maintained and managed. The gardens are also very and the overall visit takes around 1 hour. There is a large lot inside the domain's walls. Very castle, the most impressive views are from the cliff before getting to the castle. The gardens are well maintained and quite big. A place with rooms well furnished with furniture from the past. The has ancient orange trees. The AT booklet contains a lot of interesting information, I definitely recommend taking one with you. Beautiful stately old castle. Great place for a visit and the grounds were beautiful! And as a bonus, there is a grand piano in one of the rooms that they encourage anyone who can play, to feel free to do so. So we were treated to some magnificent music! Delightful! Beautiful, tranquil gardens and interesting house. A warm, welcome from the very friendly and helpful young man at reception. Download the audio guide (available in several languages) or read the info cards in each room for a self guided tour. Great views of the rocks across the river and the climbers tackling them. The weather was good so we stayed for almost 3 hours. It was the 1st May and it was free for visit. It was a very place and they organized some activities to take children's attention so my daughter also enjoyed it very much 😊 and at the end of the activity she got a little 🎁. Small with a beautiful in the style of Le Nôtre. It is located in a beautiful and quiet environment. There weren't many visitors, so we could really enjoy the garden. You can find interesting information in the booklet they borrow you - e.g. which orange trees are more than 300 years old. There is a free space a bit further the (you pass the when you come from Dinant). on a beautiful location with a pretty garden... but the execution as a tourist attraction isn't done very well. Signs with explanation placed in the wrong rooms, very dull audioguide and no place to get a coffee. Could be way more interesting and fun with some adjustments We spent around 2 hours at this chateau. The visit and the audio guide is very interesting (once I got used to the layout). It's great that such places can be visited, and the amount of dedication, time and money to maintain such a location becomes evident once you see the pictures of the flooded grounds. The entrance to the is further down the street, on the grounds (not street parking). You get to drive through the arch of trees (in autumn colors for us) - this was a bit confusing to me, even though there are signs to the parking, because I thought we'll have to walk back, when in fact you drive close to the entrance, but through the grounds. Maybe a different location should be added on google maps, to indicate parking. It’s very well preserved Castle. Full of history and great collections of items from the era represented. 1 or max 1,5 hours is good enough to enjoy the and its beautiful gardens! Ticket price was 10 euro for an adult This included the and garden. The is very well maintained and beautifull. To visit the it is better to go during spring when the trees are blossoming. We went late June so no blossoms for us. 1 note, it is only open during weekends.
