I went there to see thr Jazz à Sète vestival for Marcus Miller & Herbie Hancook (separate days) and both concerts were great however a few takeways from this: Take cash with you because you cannot pay with the card unless it’s 10 eur and above Staff removes water bottle caps and forcefully opens your drink for you even if you wanna drink or consume later The was 20-30% overbooked so there was no places for everyone to sit The transportation in and out was a bit complicated, out more than in as you have to wait 30 min after the show’s over to catch the small ferry back to where you’ve parked the car Been going since 2010 to the Worldwide Festival. Amazing place, many goosebumps have been felt here It’s an unbelieveble venue. The sound, the sea, the fact that you can’t get huge crowds in it makes it the perfect for any type of concert. Lovely venue! Sete is a beautiful town and Théátre de la Mar made the Maia and Caravan Palace concert so much more memorable. This is the main for the annual Worldwide Festival. It's hard to think there's a better theatre in the world. Climb to the top and the view is breathtaking. Whatever's on when you're in Sete, go and see it because the Theatre de la Mer is a star in itself.
