Totally recommend. absolutna krasa !!! isli sme k malemu rozpadnutemu hradiku, ale zistili sme, ze toto je jeden z naj - najvacsich hradov na Slovensku !!! zaparkovali sme v pohodicke v dedine pri potravinach, sice platene, ale 2,2e za cely den je v pohode, cesta peso trvala cca 40 min, na hrade prave prebiehala akcia zdruzenia Renova (ozrenova.eu) a bolo to fantasticke !!! ti ludia to robili uplne zadarmo !!! toto sa dnes uz nevidi, to uz nezazijete !!! bolo tam vela roznych remesiel kde si deti ale aj dospeli mohli skusit rozne cinnosti, ludia boli mili, ustretovi, a vsetko zadarmo !!! musim vyjadrit obrovske podakovanie, samotny hrad je na zrucaninu celkom fajn a hlavne velky takze je tu co obkukat, cesta dole sa da ist okruhom takze na hrad sa viete dostat viacerymi stranami, urcite odporucam navstevu Well-preserved ruine of mediaval castel, pretty large one, compared to several other ruines alongside Czech and Slovak borders. A piece of history, hidden within the forest, access suitable for small kids as well as old folks, however, a big challenge with a wheelchair, assistance with very good physical power needed. If you like old castles well worth a visit. The information signs are in Slovak but lots of pictures tell the story of the recent archeology. Its a fair walk and not easy going in places, having a 4x4 we managed to get closer than most but still a good walk & looked like it would be difficult if it wasn't dry. We visited on a hot day and the trees gave us some well recieved shade. Epic, great effort from the volunteers maintaining this place, nice views, easy walk up from carpark. A ruin of a castle from the 13th century. Recently a part of the castle with a tower has been uncovered and open for a visit. The walk from the village is easy and suitable for kids. It starts at the church, you must cross the local cemetary, later you pass an old Jewish cemetary located in the forest. Very easy hike. Nice place, beautiful sceneries.
