Der Eintrittspreis mag zwar etwas teuer vorkommen, was aber diese Ausstellung zu bieten hat, ist es auf jeden Fall wert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und geht auf Fragen ein. Komme gerne wieder. Phenomenal! Ecstatic... this is a must-visit car museum. 4-storey building of Jaw-dropping classic cars, street cars, racing and carts, driven/used by world's famous racers from all over the world. With the spacious premises, parking is not a problem. They have a cafe as well, and a spacious lobby with life-sized screen showing previous races. It's so organised, the are well classified, well maintained facility. Foods and drinks are forbidden inside the exhibition area and there is a glass room for smokers within the building, so, no need to go out. Staff and crew are very accommodating and very informative. Well made and very clean. Highly recommended. We also ate well and the food was really tasty too. The waitress was trully friendly and smiley, the lounge in the garden really cool and the atmosphere chill and beautiful. Unbelievable. If you like cars, you have to see this. Classic, sports, F1, you name it. Even Porsche tractors. All big make cars. You can take your time to see each car in detail and take pictures. If you are in Zurich, you have to this place. It’s a little far away from city. But, completely worth it. This open only on Sundays. This is an absolutely Incredible car to visit. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The small Cafe serves very nice drinks and food as well. I look forward to visiting again the next time I come to Switzerland. Thanks Autobau! Vintage car enthusiasts will delight in the meticulously preserved classics that evoke a sense of nostalgia and admiration for craftsmanship of yesteryears. Meanwhile, aficionados of cutting-edge technology will find themselves captivated by the newest hyper and sports cars, each representing the pinnacle of modern engineering prowess. Having explored countless museums dedicated to motorsports, I can confidently say that Autobau Erlebniswelt stands out as a truly unique and unparalleled experience. It transcends the boundaries of a typical visit, offering an immersive journey through the evolution of technology and racing culture. In conclusion, Autobau Erlebniswelt is a must-visit destination for anyone with even a passing interest in motorsports or history. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or simply curious about the world of cars, Autobau guarantees an unforgettable experience that will leave you in awe of the incredible machines that have shaped our landscape. Autobau is one of the most impressive and thoughtfully curated museums I’ve visited, offering an experience that feels both personal and expertly arranged. From the moment you walk in, it’s clear that Autobau is designed with passion and precision, allowing every car to shine in its own space without feeling crowded or overshadowed. Each room flows naturally into the next, creating a smooth and engaging journey through decades of history, engineering, and motorsport heritage. One of the standout highlights of the entire is the Clay Regazzoni room. This dedicated tribute to the legendary Swiss racing driver is nothing short of breathtaking. The collection is arranged beautifully, striking the perfect balance between historical storytelling and visual impact. The room not only showcases the machines that defined Regazzoni’s career, but it also captures the emotion, grit, and spirit of a true motorsport icon. It’s a space that leaves you lingering longer than expected, absorbing the atmosphere and appreciating the depth of the tribute. Throughout the museum, the are laid out with remarkable care. Each exhibit feels intentional, making it easy to admire the vehicles from all angles while still getting close enough to appreciate the details—those small touches that often go unnoticed in more crowded settings. The variety is impressive too, from race to rare road machines, each preserved in excellent condition. For me, a personal favourite is the Vector W8. Seeing this futuristic, angular masterpiece in person is a genuine thrill. Its bold, almost sci-fi design stands out instantly, and Autobau gives it the space and presence it deserves. Overall, Autobau is an exceptional destination for any car enthusiast—beautifully presented, rich in history, and full of unforgettable highlights. ein wunderschönes Auto Museum, es riecht nach Benzin und Gummi, eine tolle Sammlung mit sehr schönen Exemplaren! 5 Sterne+ Absolutely fantastic car collection, beautifully curated. Never been so close to such uniques. Will come again, many times ;) Very nice place, lots of different types of cars. A very nice staff available to answer questions. Annoying deliberate beeping noise from a machine. Wonderful atmosphere full of car enthousiastes. Die Ausstellung hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Man ist sehr nahe an den Autos und kann sich auch von diversen Details ein Bild machen.👍🏻 A really impressive car collection - great to be able to just walk around the without the usual ropes and fences. Be sure to the nearby Locarama train if you're into "engineering art" and impressive machines. Absolute Empfehlung, es muss man gesehen haben A great diversity of beautiful and impressive from the 1930s until today. The is divided in 4 parts + 1: - Sports car, supercars and hypercars from the 60s to today (Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Aston Martin, BMW, Maserati, McLaren, etc.) - Sbarro (really interesting to discover this Swiss designer/manufacturer) - Classic from the 1950s to 1970s (Jaguar, Mini, AC, Chrysler, Citroen, Corvette, Triumph, MG, etc.) - Motorsports (all the Sauber F1 until mid-2000, LISTA team cars, Le Mans proto, single seaters, etc.) - F1 Swiss driver Clay Regazzoni's (in another building), a few of his and all his trophies are exposed There are free parking spots at the and a bar to take a brake with a coffee or a snack. I was a bit disappointed when I realised that in the motorsport hall, it wasn't a real 250 GTO but a replica based on a 330 LMB. Still, it's a stunning car to look at! 🤩 Stunning collection of European sports and formula cars! And it's not just "standard" models but most are special editions or very low productions - where else would you see a Saleen S7 or Vector W8!? Mostly classic but also newer ones like LaFerrari or 918 Spyder. In all, from Aston Martin, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Bugatti, Ferrari, Ford, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lancia, Maserati, Mercedes and Porsche - plus a lot of formula cars. And note, you walk along all the and can look into/touch them - and the free moving info guides will allow you to sit in many of them! Well worth a visit. Super schöne Ausstellung! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!
