I always love being at Kolding Library. The atmosphere. The staff are really kind and helpful. Easy to get good and thorough assistance if needed. Also a good place for children on ground floor. And a room to sit and eat the lunch you brought with you. Coffee and water to get in the downstairs reading room. Good facilities for students upstairs. And all if we need to sit and use our computer for some reason. I have enjoyed that earlier. In the basement there is a fun interactive floor for kids at various ages. And a little movie room. And the basement there is located place called Swap Spot where you can get clothes. They have a point system. No money involved. Sustainabilty. And the Sustainability House is also Modern, airy with lots of seating, brochures for tourists and art works by Olafur Eliasson (To lufthuller med lys, 2007). Kolding public is worth visiting. Great collection of books, music but also other activities like music and art. Things to do from children to seniors. This meant the world to me when I lived in Kolding. It's a bright, friendly, modern but cozy place that invites you to stay and sink into other worlds. They have a good collection of in English and German to choose from. I also loved the art and that you could listen to music CD's. I would love to visit this place once again <3 I will never understand why it is okay to talk so loud in a - even employees do it. 🤷‍♀️ This is incredibly beautiful, with ample high-quality events.
