Theres nothing significant about the place except a small lake and a lookout tower. You can also rent some winter sport equipment. Otherwise just a forest, which is totally fine,but its nothing special to go 30+ km outside riga. You can enjoy same kind of place just outside city. I dont understand how this place was more praised and mentioned than Sigula or Ķemeri national park... Maybe in summer its okay place,but theres so much better options where to go that this seems like a least interesting one.
