If you are keen on finding out about Latvian history and culture dating back to Viking times - this is the place to visit. The staff are very knowledgeable and a crucial part of the local community hosting various family friendly events and national celebrations. We had a wonderful and welcoming experience at the Andreja Pumpura Museum. We learned of Lāčplēsis and about the history of Lielvārde and the area. The guide was excellent to have brought us through the exhibition and she explained everything with passion and enthusiasm. Thanks again and Hello from Ireland !
