The main highlight here is basically the sulfuric spring, which is then surrouned with a nice little park and around that are the sadly dilapidated remains of the sanatorium. The has that specific old egg smell and lgends of healing properties. Also a warning that coliform bacteria have been found in it. For what it's worth I drank from it and did not suffer in any way. It's neat, but not really something you would go out of your way to visit, hence the OK rating. It's a nice place to come to and at the same time it's sad that it is neighbouring with ruins of the former famous spa. Beautiful park, nice to sit down and relax. If you visit Baldone it's definitely worth a visit. Also located in this park is a famous fountain with healthy water. Try a sip of this and notice the odd egg taste. You might think this is rotten but it turns out it taste like that because of all the healthy benefits it has. Also there is a parkour you can walk with bare feet, the idea of this is to experience the different senses with your feet. Not recommend to drink! A must see place for any visitor in Baldone, where anyone can taste the smelly but healthy water with curing capabilities that is left over from the abandoned health resort next to it. Derelict spa though the sulphur water fountain is functioning. A nice find but the smell is quite strong.
