S svojimi 484 ha nudi obilo neokrnjene narave, možnosti za sprehode, tek, kolesarjenje, spoznavanje rastlin in živali. Predvsem pa se lahko tam sprostimo in uživamo v lepi naravi. Po nižinskem mešanem gozdu ter mnogimi ribniki si lahko izberemo lepe lokacije za preživetje prostega časa.Krajinski park Rački ribniki – Požeg so izrednega pomena, saj predstavljajo življenjski prostor redkim ter ogroženim živalskim in rastlinskim vrstam. Njihov pomen seže tudi izven slovenskih meja. V parku so odkrili preko 210 vrst ptic, 50 vrst kačjih pastirjev in 12 vrst dvoživk. Majhna vodna "oaza", ki nudi v vsakem letnem času dokaj pristen stik z naravo, mnogimi živalskimi vrstami, predvsem pticami in žuželkami. Ribnike občasno izpraznijo. Takrat se razkrije dejanska globina ribnikov, ki ne presega pol metra (ali največ en meter).
