Very clean zoo. A smaller zoo, but still very interesting, beautiful and child-friendly. The staff is very friendly and smiling, they take good care of the animals. The paths are very nicely arranged, it is possible to and pet the animals. Some also roam freely. There are also children's playgrounds, very and imaginatively made. Drinks are also provided (various vending machines - including coffee). Unfortunately the bar didn't work, probably because we visited the zoo during the week. The souvenir shop was also closed. It only operates on weekends - this was written on the door. Very terrarium. Impressive. Everything was beautiful and we had a wonderful trip. Amazing and well done My family and I just visited Sikalu ZOO for the first time recently. The facility is really and well taken care of. There are quite a few exotic that visitors can see. are presented with a short text about the species and its geo-location when in natural habitat. A must-visit for everyone who would like to pet a Caibara or a Lemur! One of the staff members said that this zoo has existed for 12 years now - I just found out. And lucky that I did! We had a phenomenal time feeding and caressing Capibaras! Where in the world can you do that?! (Well, as it turns out, there are some bars in the US that offer petting Capibaras, but they are charging much more). It is a bit unfortunate that the tickets for the Capibara or Lemur Experiences cannot be bought at the entrance, but this is my only complaint about this zoo. Everything else felt good, from having a lot more space to move, some even roaming around freely, to several playgrounds, to covered spots for rest, vending machines for food and drink, souvenir shops, very facilities... Was a pleasure to be there and I wish we had more than just 2,5 hours to visit it. Next time we will come much earlier and enjoy every possible offer that this zoo has to offer! Honestly when my girlfriend told me about this place, I was expecting a small, unorganized place with a few animals. I could not have been more wrong. The zoo covers a surprisingly large area and it is well organized. You have many exotic animals, from kangaroos, monkeys, capybaras, crocodiles, camels to more familiar ones like goats, cows, horses. You can the majority of these animals, and you also have the option to pet some of them. There are store and a restaurant present in the park, pretty much everything was taken into account. Very enjoable Lemour experience, recommended… some other very cute primates but in general everything else is average, terrarium very poor. Still worth the visit for the Lemour alone. The girl working with lemurs is extremely pleasant, kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend visiting this small but wonderfully organized place with many different animals. A good fun for an hour and a half. Max 2 hours if your kids spend a lot of time on the playground. Maybes they price is a few € more than what they offer but it's manageable. You can the goats and the monkeys. See up close sometimes camels and kangaroos. Toilets are clean. Food and drinks were not available in our visit (October) except vending machines.
