Uvala Kala

Pula, Croatia Public beach

One of the Best Places To Visits in Šišan Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Great little we stumbled across on our first night in Croatia, Down a dusty dirt track with ample park. Rocky Stony shallow Beach, as most beaches are in Croatia - the first time we noticed the locals all wear shoes. Bonus bar / restaurant, Tortuga on the beach, which does good reasonably priced beer and food Arrived and left, visited on a Thursday in the second half of July and it was too busy; the itself is nothing special, nicer part is on the sides of the bay along the slanted rocks but shadow is limited. Bar was busy, haven’t checked the prices but from other reviews I suspect these are not on the cheapest side Tried to find a spot on the coast with no tourists. That didn’t work out that well. From Medulin driving towards this place you go for 2kms on a dirt road with sharp rocks and lots of dust, turning your car completely camouflaged dessert colour. Be careful if you go there with a rental car and read if off-road is covered. Once they you will find lots of other people probably expecting to be the sole ones there either. The is very clear, lots of fish and shellfish. Wear shoes to prevent injuries. Rather harsh road to reach it (dust) Beach has nice and shallow level for children at the beginning. Use of shoes recommended. Amount of waste found at the is ok. No toilet avaible with the nearby restaurant as drawback. Some spots with oil (ocean damage by climate Change/ ships lost oil) - hard to wash feet after the beach. A stunning little beach, nestled in a small cove. You drive on a gravel road to find it but very doable. The bar Tortuga is a must with friendly staff and reasonable drinks. Get there early to get some shade in the treeline and the enjoy the clean, bright blue water. Finally, a place around Pula that you can snorkel, and see beyond 1 m deep! is clearest Ive seen in about 6 different locations around Pula. Family friendly little cove with at least 100m of wading distance from the beach. 600m out, still swimming fine, seeing to the sea floor, at least 10m to 15m deep, and more. Lots of fish, and coral, etc to see if snorkeling. Rock beach, not sand. No sea urchins! Small bar located on the beach, coffee, soft drinks.... nice and quiet place, perfect for relaxation! Crystal clean and cold thanks to a few underwater well! My favourite one!!! Too swallow for snorkeling, otherwise great. Has great rocks and 2 friendly cats.
