This spiritual place Saint Foška in Istria is magical. It’s situated near the city of Vodnjan, in the middle of the Istrian countryside surrounded by very old olive trees. It’s a legend story about that little with big miracles, and after visiting this place, locals said that miracles have been observed. The local people say, that there is a strong field going from Brijuni islands through the sea until to the Foška church. And it’s not unusual that you see people are meditating to absorb energy. It’s a place where heaven meets earth. We visited this unique and one thing we can say, spiritual or not, the place touched us and left it’s mark. Great spiritual experience... Peacefull and calm enviroment, shows that on this place heaven touch earth... St. Foska was young lady which showed us what is necessary to do to reach eternity on earth... Even she lived 1800 years ago her spirit is here strong and full of hope for all belivers and pilgrims... Just a run down old church. The coolest thing about it is that is more than 1,400 years old. Okolica bi bila lahko bolj urejena. Na google zemljevidu je pisalo da je odprto 24/7, vendar temu ni tako. Odprto je le ob nedeljah za čas maše. Zanimi so kamni z napisi in prošnjami kjer se pokaže da je v življenju najbolj pomembno zdravje saj večina prosi ravno za to. Nekateri pravijo, da čutijo na tem kraju posebno pozitivno energijo. Ukratko, da ne bi bilo zabune. U Istri ima 2 crkve sv Foške, u Vrsaru i kraj Vodnjana. Velika razlika! U Vrsaru se misa održava samo jednom godišnje. Kraj Vodnjana svaku prvu nedjelju u mjesecu u 17 sati po ljetnom računanju vremena, a u 15 sati po zimskom računanju vremena. Ja nisam pazila pa sam skoro završila u krivom gradu. Preporučam zvati za informacije prije dolaska, osobito ako dolazite iz daleka. You can feel the celestial energy. I'm not big on churches, but the location, condition and architecture of this are wonderful. Beautiful with a breathtaking history, albeit sad. This is part of a bigger bike/walk tour. is accessible by car as well, although there are no marked parking spaces. At the time of my visit, it was not open, but I could peek through the windows to see inside. Some believe the surrounding area has positive energy. Higly recommend the visit.
