I had a few hours spare and the weather was good. A colleague has recommended this place to me, so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. Getting there was easy. Parking was crowded but I found a space as the car park is large. EUR 3 for 3 hours, which is reasonable. Entry was EUR 2.50, which I think is very cheap. The beach was busy but I had space to lie down without being crowded. There are toilets, food and drink on site. I only sunbathed but it looks like there is lots to do. I would certainly visit again if working around Leipzig again. Summer hot spot! But be sure to bring plenty of your own stuff, including water, food, & shade! Not much selection or entertainment...you make your own fun! a bit off the beaten track, and rather crowded during the summer season, but with plenty of beaches and various attractions, especially for families. Owner charges fees for everything (parking, beach Access, activities,...) Area need to be financed,ok, but this is over the top! I recommend going to another of the many seas around Leipzig, all are for free Facilities are clean and setting of the campground is nice. There is a leisure Park close by at the lake which offers kite surfing, beach volleyball, archery and even diving. So all very good actually apart form the proximity to the airport (noise) and the price. We paid 43€ for one (!) night: 2 adults, 2 five year old's, one tent, one car. Very nice place! Good campsite with clean and proper facilities. Excellent beachclub with cocktailbar and restaurant. Will come back! Tip top A lovely place to swim and bring the kids. There's a little playground as well! Not much shade so it's worth bringing a big umbrella or a beach tent. The further right you go along the beach (when looking at the water from the sand) the more pebbly and stony it gets. The left side is more sandy, so if you have sensitive feet or don't want to wear shoes into the water then stay more on the left side as you enter. The only downside is that the coffee at the restaurant nearby is almost unpalatable 😝 Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
