Stunning! Had a fantastic stroll along the dry bed where the water had worn away the banking at various points. Well worth a visit. Great walks along the bed when it's dry, depending on the route you take it can be a challenge to get down to the bed, but should be no problem for most able bodied people. We only had trainers but you might need walking boots when it's wet. Good for dogs as well, very safe. Went with my friend to this fantastic place. We were just going for an hour or so but ended up taking a wrong turn.😄😄 So an hour turned out to be 4 hours💪💪🙈🙈 We had a great time and loved it. Thank goodness we took enough water and some some food. It's not the first time we have taken a wrong turn. It looks like it is what we do best. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️That is how it turns out to be the best adventure. 👌 Fab in and the dry valley. Puddles in places especially after rain fall. Easy walking. Impassable towards the coast from the Pegasus rock carving. Very nice through this “dry river”. 1/11/25 New avenues have opened after the rains and other parts are choked with plastic debris. Sadly someone had dumped a dead cat just as you start the down from deportivo parking and the stench was horrific. The Traysho entrance is full of plastic waste- we could do with a community effort to clear some of this ?? I had to limbo under trees that are in danger of collapse and scramble over new routes to get through. You'll need boots and a stick-the clay is slippery. A machete if you have one. Allow 90 minutes for the circular walk. Fantastic walking trail with beautiful sculpted sandy walls. Ideal for all ages. Beautiful place. Bring good shoes. Excellent place for a around just make sure you’ve got the right footwear on is long, beatiful and pretty easy. The dry route still has water, so nature around it is pretty green. In the area natural part there are picnic tables, parking, toilet and zone for barefoot walking with different textures to step on. Special place! Great easy walk! I would recommend parking at the restaurant Meson Rio seco and then waking from there!
