The water is clear blue, and as a matter of fact it is a water reservoir to supply farmers in Cartagena. Unfortunately, you cannot swim here. This place is not known at all, you will find here little to no people, and you can access from many points. We went for a picknick next to the water, ofcourse we took our trash. Unlike many other pigs who leave their trash there. What a shame! While it has a good amount of footfall, it’s mostly motorcyclists driving along the Embalse so it’s not overcrowded generally. It’s something you simply must see if you like nice scenery.
