Probably my favourite Murcian bar so far. Paulicarus and Jorvic spotted it from the main road. A very large bar with outside patio seating ( watch the Alpine Swifts fill the evening sky on this April visit) and two floors inside. Had a large Aguila beer and a lovely rosé wine.7€ for the two drinks. Served with a small tapas. The first free scoobie snacks. Sat inside listening to great choice in music. Toilets upstairs but fully equiped disabled toilet on ground floor. What a fabulous place to eat and chill. Immaculately clean and the service is second to none. Amazingly the young lady in the picture was on her own attending to 25 to 30 patrons and was more organised than a similar cafe/ with 6 staff. What a fabulous place to eat and chill. Nice place near the centre. I was surprised. At first I found the decor a little too ‘cheeky’ even a bit ‘kitsch’ BUT awesome food, super fresh, big portions, crisp beer in perfectly clean glassware :) I recommend 100%. We were there today around 2:00, was not busy. Nice place, greeted right away and seated. Gave us a tapa. Service was top notch. Food was excellent. There was two of us and we shared a chicken ceaser salad, 3 cheese Spanish omelet, plenty of beer and Asiatico coffee. It was only 45€ Highly recommend when you in the area. We had a tasty plate of cheese, ham, salami, lomo, and chorizo, washed down with a very good bottle of verdejo. A splendid lunch A very good place. Delicious food, nice service. I recommend you. 🙂 Absolutely horrendous. It seemed like none of the food was prepared using salt. We got the bravas which was oily, bland and the sauce tasted like water was added to it. It had no flavour. The calamari was chewy and bland. The chicken strips were said to have curry but again this lacked any seasoning. The croquetas were worse than the frozen Mercadona ones. The tortilla was somewhat edible but the rest we left on the table. The 18 year old waiter was also quite rude. Loved this place! Staff were efficient and friendly and the food was fantastic. Come and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed food is decent but the service is abysmal. Ordered a tortilla de bacalao and it took them 10 minutes to tell us that they didn’t have any available. asked for an extra serving of salsa brava not one, not two, not three but FOUR TIMES. Insanely slow and incompetent.
