A good requires two key things, knowledge and personality - this had both in buckets! Nicholas was obviously so deeply passionate about his home town and showing it off to people, he was also a straight up character! With humour and strong welcoming personality. Tour size was quite big but I think everyone managed to squeeze in nicely. Night tours are just so special. We had a with Celine! She was a local and lived all her life in Bruges so it was nice to hear some personal as well. It really makes a difference when you do a free with a local. Jan was an absolutely amazing guide, with a full of surprises, cool and a very interesting angle of the of the city. 100% recommended! Our Historical Bruges was really the best! Our was Natalie and she conducts one of the best "city/history" tours we have ever been on. Knowledgeable, funny, stories, and she ties everything together in thread fashion so as the comes to life, it also makes historical sense. Compliment and tip her well as she is worth every euro! I attended Free Bruges in Nov 2024. The old town and the canal were amazingly beautiful, like a fairy tale. Our Wouter did a job, and I learned a lot about Bruges' history. The free chocolate was delicious! We had Brecht as a stand in for the English group on a Friday and he was amazing! As a local, he really knew his and the personal about his family connections to Bruges were lovely to hear about. Thank you so much 🙏🏻 We joined this to find out about the of Bruges and were not disappointed! Our was so knowledgeable and passionate about the and people of Bruges. We highly booking this to get the best out of the city. It included a chocolate tasting too, plus discounts on other activities such as the boat cruises. I did the Dark side of Bruges evening and Martin was an exceptional guide! Funny and fascinating, his obvious interest in the of Bruges and Belgium was a real treat. Privately, I asked auxiliary questions which he had clear and concise answers to with even more interesting facts. Highly Legends and Martin and this tour! A wonderful to learn about Bruges. Really made us appreciate the even more to learn about its amazing history. Thomas was a wonderful that kept us well entertained while teaching us about the history. The 2 hours went by so fast! Highly for anyone coming to Bruges. We did the "Dark Side" of Bruges with our guide, Martin. He was terrific -- Had many and legends to tell us as we walked around some of the Bruges neighborhoods. I liked that he spoke loudly and was easy to hear (we had a very large group of 24 people on the we took the so that can get a little tricky). My wife and I had done a bike earlier in the day, so we weren't sure whether to do this walking tour. I highly that you do it. You see a totally different side of the at night. The lights and canals and buildings seem to stand out even more. And one huge plus is that there are far fewer people around the at night, so it's much less crowded. It's just kind of a part spooky, part romantic atmosphere that you simply don't get during the day with the big crowds everywhere. I felt like I got some of the best photos from our entire trip to Belgium (Ghent, Bruges, Brussels) on this tour. We had an amazing with Hilde! The lasted just under 2 hours. Lots of good with a mix of and dark too. It was so nice to see the local side of Bruges as you are also taken to quieter parts of town that aren’t necessarily touristy. Loved it. Did the Dark Side of Bruges tour, and our Martin was great! He was enthusiastic even through the rain. Such a wonderful storyteller. Thank you! We travelled with our 18yr old daughter to Bruges for a few days and decided to do the 11:30am w Jan. What a delight! He is a master storyteller and we left wanting to remember everything he shared about Flemish/Bruggian (is that a word?) and architecture. Highly and remember to bring euros to tip! 10/10 from all three of us🙌🏼 Enjoyed a very interesting with these guys in late May 25. Wonderful presentations and well paced for all the group. Clearly a well informed (Brett (I may have misheard!) who answered extra questions and was very generous with his time. Highly recommended. Joined this group in Bruges. Eric was our and at2.5 hours long it was one of the best things we did in Bruges. He was knowledgeable on and little details, funny, and kept us engaged the entire time. We’ve done Legends tours in other cities and thought “well, that was okay.” Not here. We walked away in love with the and extremely happy we spent the time with the tour. Highly this one. Look for Eric. He’s phenomenal! *walking tour: all the beautiful places plus the history, talk about chocolate, a little beer, this focused on history. Listen to his suggestions on places to visit too, they were superb. We had a fantastic walking of Bruges with Patrick. We learned a lot, explored much of the city, and got to taste delicious chocolate—so good we went back for more instead of the pricier shops! He also gave local recommendations for beer tasting and other meals. Highly recommend. Excellent tour. Our provided information and tips that were very helpful. His historical presentation of Brugge was entertaining and was a supplement to our book. This was a fantastic way to explore Brugge! The was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared about the city’s and hidden gems. The pace was perfect, and we saw both famous sights and charming, lesser-known spots. A must-do for anyone visiting Brugge! This was by far the best walking we have ever attended across Europe! Thank you, Wouter D. for a very filled and informative of Brugge! We learned so much about Belgium and Brugge’s culture and background. The legends were very interesting also. We highly this and hope you have the chance to experience our guide! We had the opportunity to be entertained and educated by Wouter D.! Luc D is an exceptional guide: he managed a huge group in the rain on New Years Eve and made sure we could all see and hear clearly, and found good places to shelter us in dry spots. He has such a sense of humour and was very friendly and helpful. I learned so much that I would never have found on my own or in a book. Such a experience and I highly it.
