Watched tribute band "Luke Combs UK" concert. The traditional auditorium was just the right size to feel the intimacy of a live music concert and the seating was comfortable, with all seats offering a good view of the artists and stage. Excellent venue, went to see Fat boy slim. Super , only negative was there wasn't enough toilets for the amount of people in the venue. 2nd time here for gigs....love it....small cozy with upstairs seating and downstairs standing. Bar up and downstairs. My family and I went to see the stylistics, and we had a great time.. Went to see Magnum on their summer tour, and it's a good venue. The sound was very good, and plenty of room for standing. Only criticism that I have is that the bar closed by 10:30 pm - they could have made quite a bit of money from the fans after the gig. Went watching T.rexarty brilliant night. Seating was the best, not cramped up plenty of leg room not like other venues I've been where seating was uncomfortable and no leg room. Drinks were reasonable, and staff were very helpful. First time here would return here Brilliant intimate theatre/hall. Staff excellent, friendly, and passionate about the place. I would recommend reviewing other comments about disability access or speak directly to the booking office. Cracking pub restaurant next door too Vandal.. I went to see Big Country and Mike Peters of the Alarm proform live. They were great and the is perfect for that intimate live band feel. The staff are wonderful, helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back again. Nice ,intemate space ,ideal for a medium sized events 5-700 people ,£8-50 for a pint of lager ruined the evening though ,get a grip 🍺🍺😱😱 Great for an amazing Skindred concert. Perfectly supported by Dead Pony. Lovely location with plenty of disabled parking in a quiet area. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Accessible toilet easy to locate and very clean. Other toilets are well maintained. The kiosk could do with offering more choice of drinks. The only thing I didn't like was thr carpeted areas which makes it very difficult to push a wheelchair on. Smaller so it always feels like you are close to the performance. Friendly front of house who volunteered to help us to our seats, really helpful. Interesting shows and decent prices. Already booked our next visit ☺️ We had an excellent time last night at the Parr Hall! The staff were lovely and helpful, which always adds to the experience... The Magic of Motown!! Loads of singing, dancing, and fun!! Went to see Paul Smith at the Parr Hall, great gig, he's well funny. love the place, seen a lot of good shows there over the years, The Housemartins in their prime, Grandmaster Flash, James, Stone Roses, the Parr Hall attracts some big names. The seating can get a bit cramped, but the seats are old & joined together so it wouldn't be easy & be expensive to replace, as long as they keep bringing in the big acts, it doesn't matter, u forget about the seating arrangements & just let the acts speak for themselves, thats what it's about & has been & hopefully will continue to be about. It's a beautiful building as well. Spot on acoustics Amazingly cool old school venue. Great views everywhere Been for loads of great events 2 this last week. But sadly the fri night skiddle event had a poor bar service not set up for purpose and numbers - could have been fixed easy with one queue or selling cans. Using bottle and taps/ hand pouring in to plastic glasses meant 1 hour q at bar! First time going here for a gig, absolutely loved it tbh!! Went to see David Spikey a few weeks ago at Parr Hall. Although the place is reminiscent of a World war 2 concert hall, the overall ambiance was good. The most disappointing aspect was the closeness of the seats and number of rows packed into the hall. When one person wanted to leave it wasn’t a matter of standing to allow them through but the whole row had to stand and move into the adjoining aisle way. My right shoulder was resting on the guy next to me for the whole 2.5 hours.
