The was fairly easy although the back up was tiring…but I did try to beast it and got a sweat on….🥾 🏔️ 🌞 Lovely place, I'm glad we paid here a visit. We were passing through on our way down south and stopped for a short here. It cost us £1 to in the car for an hour. We walked to the old quarry equipment and to the summit, creating a lovely, short circular walk. Interesting place with plenty of information boards about the quarry equipment. There are plenty of stones scribed with Teggs Nose Country and similar. The country seems really well looked after, and the visitor centre, though small, was worth a visit. There are also a few trails going through the country park, which can be followed, a milestone on the road outside the car and a few viewfinders up on the high points of the hill. I'd recommend visiting here. Ideal for short walks, dog walks, and for with children. spot to access the Country itself and all the stunning surrounding countryside and landscape. Plenty of secure parking, an on-site café (The Nose Coffee) and a multitude of emanating from the centre itself. Totally child & dog friendly with a selection of picnic benches arranged around the varioys adjacent grassed areas. Stunning back across to the nearby town of Macclesfield. This area is dotted with four reserviours which supply water locally for drinking and yo keep the canal topped-up. Fantastic views, well maintained paths and little cafe. Shame about the irresponsible dog 🐕 owners who don’t control their dogs or clear up after them. A spot to unwind on the Western edge of The Peak District. There are facilities onsite and a car park. The trail was well-marked and had a mix of woodland and open areas. Once you reach the summit, you’re rewarded with stunning panoramic across the Cheshire plains — it’s definitely worth the climb. This place is really amazing and refreshing, we trekked all the way down to the spillway and climbed the mountain back, it took 3 hours to go and come back, but the experience was really nice. There were flowers and breathtaking in between. Ok went on a little detour increased to 585m elevation. Just about recovered, but absolutely worth the Tegs nose is a beautifull place, even in the drizzle. But, please be aware that cycling is Not allowed in the country itself. Well done 👏. walk, there's a few little rivers with stepping stones to over that the dogs can have a paddle in, some amazing as you along paths along the sides of hills overlooking pretty farms, and a car sufficient enough for a lot of cars so always a parking spot available.
