Beautiful castle-hotel and conference centre. Great views from the castle. You see lovely river and surrounding mountains. Mediaval castel hotel, with real middle-age atmosphete. Pretty delicious cousine, warm and welcome staff, spacious rooms and very relaxing wellness & spa. A very rebuilt with a 700 year history. Beautiful views and a ton of antique stuff to check out. Also has a bar and restaurant. A large wedding hall, hotel rooms and a guided tour. A place to spend a few hours and take pictures! Had lunch there today and I can attest that everything that we had was well prepared. Price was reasonable for the location and we will definitely come back again. Beautiful with atmosphere. Rooms are spacy and nice. Worth a visit while You are in Slovakia. Food was very good just be ready that service could be better. Don't forget to take a tour around castle. Very ancient vibe of the whole castle, never slept in before. Also realized the humidity and other things would make me suffer if I would have stayed longer. The spa, location, restaurants, nature are superb and I would visit again. Just probably wouldn't not stay overnight in the rooms, but that depends on each taste, worth trying to see if it's your cup of tea. Renovated outside of Banská Bystrica. Beautiful rural area. Staff present and helpful. Dinner and breakfast excellent. Room with excellent view We stayed at this beautiful hotel on a Thursday night with our family traveling through Slovakia. Only negative thing to say about this was that they lost our pre-booking, however the staff were very couteous and managed to find us our necessary two rooms for the night. They were very polite, friendly and professional. We had a great dinner at the restaurant where not only was the food delicious, but the service excellent. The had a live Slovak country western band playing with Arizona dancing girls! Was a lot of fun! The staff at the hotel went over and above to make us feel special. We enjoyed the wellness center which was clean, modern and amazing! The rooms were clean and spacious. More of a medieval feel hotel. They allowed us to have a late checkout so that we could further enjoy they amenities. We took the tour and enjoyed the history of this beautiful castle. Staff spoke English and overall were great. Recommended if visiting this part of the world!
