I went with a group of 8 friends on Saturday, where we split into 2 groups. This was my first experience and I enjoyed it a lot. This one was centred around the local Groningen football team. Lots of lateral thinking and lock combination cracking was needed. You also have the opportunity when you get stuck to ask for help via telephone. Would recommend! We did an that was pirate-themed, and some of the clues you had to solve and things you had to do move into the next was quite fun and unique! It's a pretty fun activity to do with friends and family. We had such a fun with the „theft KNVB Cup“ room! Really riddles, cool Interieur and a super friendly host made it a wonderful experience for us. Thank you :) Compared to other I've visited the botanical garden was quite mediocre as it misses story telling and more puzzles around the room. We had fun anyway. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Very fun and interesting team-bonding activity for colleagues. The puzzles were challenging in the manner that is expected of rooms, and it gave us all a lot of satisfaction upon completion :) Leuke escaperoom en vriendelijk personeel. Alleen wel bijzonder dat de prijs per persoon is ipv per kamer/spel. It was the second for us here, but we experienced the same, super quality as last .The are very well designed and the staff is kind; we received great hints and help whenever it was needed. The lobby is nicely decorated and we expected the to be the same, but as soon as the door opened we saw pixelated wallpaper that was supposed to look nice. The gamemaster brought us into the and explained the hint telephone, asked if we had any questions and closed the door. Then we were left with a poorly translated story we could read ourselves and had to navigate through a series of riddles that had no connection to the (barely existing) storyline at all. The first we played was the theft of the cup wich was difficult because one hint mislead us completely and another riddle was incomplete (we had to count objects and some were missing). When we the gamemaster, she us that she has to search for them instead of an apology. In our second room, the deadly virus, we read that we had to put an object somewhere and the door would open. We searched for the right shelf for minutes until the gamemaster came in an us we had to just hold it to the keypad next to the door. As we her that it was not intuitive at all she us that the piece was missing. Again no apology for leaving us confused. But the worst thing happened in the last room, the pirate ship, where one of my teammates hung an object onto four hooks and was scared and hurt because he suddenly got an electric shock. We also the gamemaster and she didn't even care she just said "oh well that's normal". I don't think that's normal at all and there should at least be a warning. I don't think that's healthy and no one knows if you are fitted with a pacemaker or similar devices sensitive to electricity. I don't want to get anything out of this review I just don't get most of the ratings. The trailers deceived us and painted a totally different picture of the rooms. I don't know if the language barrier was the problem but we hoped for a more understanding response to our feedback. The most positive thing was that we could take as much water, tea and coffee as we liked between the games. We drove 3 hours from northern Germany just to play these and sadly I have to say that it wasn't worth it. What a gem of a place! We had an incredibly fun and the staff went out of their way to make sure that we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (they gave us ample to finish the room. After the hunt, we were greated with refreshments and a place to chill and share experiences. As much as I'd like to Gatekeep this place, I highly recommend it for a fun day out. Thank you! The people working there were really and helpful and the puzzles and plots were really thought out. If you need a fun plan with friends, family or coworkers I would definitely recommend giving this a try. We did the pirate and although it was quite good and the game master was also very nice, I felt like some of the puzzles were a bit random and unless you got lucky or got a tip (like we did), you would be stuck on them. Personeel was erg lief en behulpzaam. We hadden het niet gehaald binnen de tijd, maar kregen nog wat extra tijd om het toch te kunnen halen. Wij dachten ‘dit doen we wel even’ maar het bleek lastiger te zijn dan verwacht met zijn tweetjes.
