Small zoo yet it is not a small place, when you plan on checking each corner. We very enjoyed our visit, not we’re expecting such variety of animals, collection of insects or a real whale skeleton hanging under roof... :). It is worth to come here mostly with children, however people enjoying flora and fauna also will have a nice time. The only minus is disorder or dirt in some unused cages. Greetz from germany Small zoo, not so many animals, but you can having fun with your children to see a lot of collection of insectarium (especially butterflies), and other "preserved" Great for small children (and adults). Reptiles, donkeys and all sort of small animals/birds. Lot's of shade due the plenty trees around. Doezoo is a fun experience for younger kids. You'll likely not spend more than 2 or 3 hours here in general, but it's worth it. Owner does the tour and is excellent at engaging the group. He comes across as a bit rude at times, but I don't think he means to. Loved it but only children younger than 12 are allowed to touch the because of Covid rules. While that is understandable it would have been nice if this was stated explicitly before buying tickets, since this was one of the primary reasons we went. We had a great time. The place is lovely and there are plenty of activities for the children. We will visit again in the future. Nice place to bring young with you. Don't miss the guide which let you feed or touch the like the Emu, snake or tarantula. The playground seems new too and is very insect-ish. And very nice for the is the opportunity to paint mould insects. Oh btw. watch out for rats in the toilet (just kidding 😆). Tbh Yes, some caves could be bigger, like the skunk is pacing back and forth. Small zoo where can interact with freely going animals. Nice reptiles section. Cool playground for kids. If you don't know Dutch all tour will take 2-3 hours. Would be nice to have some English description too.
