For boaters: a perfect spot for a couple of days. Restaurant is great. Do laundry, swim, walk. And the town has truly the most charming early church with organ concerts. We loved it. Garnwerd aan Zee has the most amazing terrace, food is plenty and good and the service is flawless. We loved it and would recommend to others. The room was new and clean. The service was friendly food availible on site. Beautiful location It was a semi busy day, we have 2 spareribs, 1 burger and 2 fish dishes. Spareribs were a little burned... one of the fish dishes was cooked in a way we couldnt figure out if it was cooked or deepfried, the other fish dish was so chewy it took almost a minute to get through 1 bite... food was way below standards, cocktails were fine. When bringing the food to the waiters attention, a mere sorry was uttered and what was about it.. very dissapointing, wouldnt recommend Went here for my grandmas birthday. great apple pie, nice service, and for atmosphere, they even had a cool thick steel-loaded door for the area we were in, like you would see in submarines. pretty cool!
