The surrounding location was perfect although the road we stayed on was busy with car and could be loud. The service was great with phenomenal eggs to go with my breakfast. There is a cool town near by and a very nice lake. Couldn't recommend this place more! You realy have the feeling that you are staying with a friend and not a hotel, very pleasant. you have to love dogs though., place is much loved by dog owners, we found out at 6.30 in the morning when we were loudly awakened by 3 barking guest dogs. Hahaa. The garden is beatiful with a good chill spot after a long drive. The hotel has a big dog that is running around freely, without any supervision or someone to control him. Very annoying for us traveling with a dog. Also, very unfriendly owner. Very adequate rooms to sleep in, nothing special but does what you need it to. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly. For owners who have only been doing this for a few months, the service was all you ask for. Clean rooms, good beds, breakfast was decent. Garden is big enough for kids to play in and the view is amazing if you get a room with balcony on the front. There's a lake close by in which you go swimming and there's a great path for walking to it. A few small notes: - smoking isn't allowed in the rooms, but it is in the garden/terrace. - there are 2 dog's, one small and one large one, very friendly Overall it's a great place to go. Especially since the price isn't steep for the location. Very nice place!! The owner is super available and kind (also has a super cute puppy) and the room was comfy and clean :) perfect for either a one-night stay or holidays, alone or in company! Good breakfast too, I kind of wish I got to stay more! I stayed there one night on my way to Italy. Very cosy hotel, clean, quiet with a simple but tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. I slept wonderfully.
