Great restaurant with supernice people and nice atmosphere .. the great food is best to enjoy at the terasse with view over the lake - always advisable to book a table. Price is slightly above avatar but the great quality and perfect taste is worth every cent .. We visited Klopeiner See in the off-season around Easter. After some research on restaurants in the area, we chose to go to Seerose based on the great reviews online. Thanks to everyone who reviewed - we were not disappointed. The food tastes delicious - they serve a mix of Austrian and Italian dishes with a seasonal menu mixed in. There seem to be a lot of locals visiting, which is always a good sign. There is plenty of parking and a beautiful patio to sit during the warmer months. They are super kid friendly and have a little playpen, separate kids menu, as well as some placemats to color in. All in all, if we are in the area, we will definitely come back! Reservations are highly recommended. Went here twice this summer (2023)- once for our wedding anniversary and then for father-in-laws birthday (my family is local to the area) - both times disappointed by the service. The are very young and perhaps need more training? We often felt forgotten by the - especially when it came to new drinks. Food wasn't exceptional either - it has been better in the past. Schnitzel was fine, but the lamb was very underdone/not pink (see photos from the wedding anniversary meal). It was expensive for location, and all orders came at different times when eating as a bigger group. We felt like we were sitting at other customers' tables as they were placed very close together - not a very nice atmosphere as it was very loud. Bit of a mess near the entrance with pizza boxes stacked and bags lying on the floor. The toilets aren't very nice either - they don't match the price range of the restaurant. Also, when paying, added a tip without letting us know, which we found later to be very cheeky when seeing the printed out bill! It was really disappointing. Incredibly pleasant service. Excellent food. Great atmosphere. We, a family of 7, were served by a very pleasant waitress. Our little daughter had an accident with the lemonade, the other daughter's pizza was spoiled and she was offered another one. A beautifully spent evening with a view of the Klopeinersee Delicious calamari, we had the 2 different versions of the filled one. Friendly staff. nice view to the lake. We (me, my wife and our baby) were a spontaneous dine in, since our other dinner option was surprisingly filled, and we wanted to come here the day after. After calling we got a place, not outside, but that was perfectly understandable. The service was EXCEPTIONAL from the moment we walked in, we quickly got seated, and our specific young parents needs taken care of at every corner (separate seating, seating space for the stroller, fan adjustment, very little wait for ordering and food, the food was done but was kept warm until the baby was taken care of,...). The food itself was amazing as well. It was a great evening for a quick young parents dine in, thank you for that kindness. My only problem is that im not able to give a 0. One of my worst restaurant experiences ever. Rude who barely speaks a single word in english, they also did not have an english menu. They have approx 6-7 dishes on the menu, doesnt have a single idea about what they are and fail to explain it to customers. The terrace is full of bees and other stingy creatures, very annoying but still more polite than the waiters :) We ordered tagliatelle. It was definitely prepared from some kind of low budget instant sauce powder.
