We went there in July 2018 and at the entrance of the was a noisy construction side so just walked down the to find an quiet space. There is a spa market on the road to the beach, and also toilets near the entrance. There is also the possibility to sit on the grass if you do not like sand. Best place to take the dog for a nice dip in the sea! During the week it’s almost completely empty but can get full during the weekend or sunny days. Nice beach, but can get really busy and noisy at the sunny weekends (after 11 am) . Some people believe they can just play their music as if they were in a concert. Clean and beautiful, early morning and we got parking. Public toilets and bikes available but we didnt use them. Shop across the road. Lovely place for jogging, playing with dog or walk. The is very wide, there is enough place for everyone. Amazing aspecially during the summer hot days (if any). Malahide is really beautiful. There is no castle here. It has beautiful romantic beaches for couples and the sea breeze that everyone likes is very comfortable.
