We went to a concert here, the is really good, perfect views of the stage. There is a bar and cafe and prices are very reasonable and are helpful. Great little venue, close to transport links with a fab cafe. 1st time there .really great place i have to say .staff excellent Beautiful place for a show. Sound is amazing. Luas outside Such a lovely intimate Theatre. Seats 200/250 max. Stage so close you feel like you are a participant. Loved it. Great place, well managed. Good cafe/restaurant on site with a bar service. A beautiful theatre, warm, intimate with a stunning coffee shop. Such an asset to the area. Loved it Went to see The Quite Man from LOCO AND RECKLESS PRODUCTIONS which was very good. Public transport to tallaght from city centre by means of luas is excellent and in town centre. Lovely cafe in the foyer. Lads, call in someone to sort out the men's toilets, bucket's and containers under three urinals, a black bin bag taped around one, the middle cubicle taped up .it's an absolute disaster in there. Heating blasting through the vents. are lovely food's nice, prices are going up. Nice spot for a show... but the jax... ugh Nice with tired seating, clean and coffee shop. Good view of stage from wherever you sit. Often a varied programme of events. Friendly staff. The car parking is the tricky bit. Gates can be closed until literally times (afternoons anyway) and you need to park at the Square shopping centre which charges. Attended a poetry play here and absolutely loved it! The acoustics was on point so the sound was perfect! The lights and entire was audio visually immersive. Entrance is wheelchair friendly, restrooms too. A lovely Theatre, very comfortable seating, a smashing Cafe, selling food etc; before the show. The are the most helpful friendly bunch of people you could hope to meet.We love going for a night out. Great place Great to admin to on the floor to Cafe staff Very clean Fantastic with brilliant staff. Recommend to all The Civic is a great venue. You could buy a seat anywhere in the and the view and sound is super. The luas red line is a 5 min walk away and also there is plenty of parking too. Ill be back soon. 🎭🎼 Went to the Tickles and Sleeping Beauty Panto on Saturday 13th at 6.30pm. There was 9 of us ranging from Grandparents to 7 years old. It's the best Panto we've ever seen, sssoooo much fun and interaction. We've been to Gaiety and Olympia and this one was the best. Cast were brilliant, songs catering for all ages . Tickles and Dottie favourite characters, so funny and singers and dancers were amazing. Definitely be back next year. Wonderful night. Having attended the panto for many years now as we always supported local, tonight unfortunately was our first time to be so disappointed, due to a highly intoxicated lady who continued to scream and shout during the whole performance making it very uncomfortable not only for her children but to the attendance around her to be able to listen and enjoy the show. It was a children's panto and the way she was behaving was absolutely disgusting and embarrassing, So much so we seen a few people get up and actually leave half way through the show. Such a shame as it has always been a pleasure to attend the shows as they are 100% a brilliant entertaining team Great night al porter and Linda Nice spot were great in the theatre. Despite long queues at the cafe, the team were so efficient. The itself is very comfortable. Great experience. The Civic is a vibrant cool situated in the heart of Tallaght close to the Square shopping centre. I recently saw a contemporary dance ‘Birds’ as part of the Dublin festival which was fabulous. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beautiful with great amenities and sound Enjoyed many a performance there. Will be back.
