Very nice well maintained..... Tides are not high so we can get into the water.... Life guards are always alert and available for support Located a short from Sutton train station, this is easy to find and a big open setting to enjoy time and space even on the busiest of days. More amenities such as showers, toilets and water sports would be a great addition as the is clean year round and warm in the summer months s it’s captured by tidal traps at low tide. A real gem. One of the best in Dublin. It is a soft white sand beach. You will find it crowded on summer weekends. Best time to visit is during the hide period. Best for family weekend day along with kids. There are couple of public washrooms and parking for cycles available at the entrance There is also a walkway to towards Howth station. There is limited parking space beside the road. But you can park the vehicle at Sutton station and towards the beach. We love this and have been coming here for walks for years. The is mostly safe but does have dangerous currents in places which are marked on information signs at the entrance. The did claim the life of a 14 year old in 2022 and locals warn of the dangers of swimming there. Personally we find it ok as long as you keep close to the shore line. There is plenty of information regarding the danger areas at the beach. Also during the summer months the is lifeguarded, we’ve even seen them patrol the in kayaks from the water. On your average day during the year this will be quiet and there is plenty of parking along Burrow/Claremont roads. It’s popular with dog walkers and swimmers and if the wind is up and weather right the can even attract many kite surfing heads too. We have witnessed some Compass Jellyfish on the known to give a painful sting so bear that in mind. Unfortunately the good weather brings massive crowds too. Plenty of loud music, drinking and fighting reported during the 2023 summer with good weather spells. The close proximity of the to the Sutton Dart stating makes access very easy and convenient. The walks are great and when the is out you can right out and even get close to Howth harbour. Borrow really is one of Dublin’s little gems, it’s very clean and very peaceful well mostly. I recommend checking the times before going. Enjoy 🤙🏻 One of the best beaches around Dublin!! The is very beautiful with white sand. It has public restrooms at the entrance. The parking is very limited in that road where you can park in the side of the road. The train station is 15’ walking distance. If the is low, you can to Howth. It’s kind of hidden, behind the houses along that long road. Recommended beach! Also, there is no amenities around so bring your water and snacks! Long brach with clear white sand. During low up to Howth and all it's amenites takes around 30minutes. There is not much in area- no restaurants. Only one pubic toilet/ changing room. Good Sand is so soft. It's like being away on holidays. does be busy on sunny days. We went in the evening about 7:30pm and it was still busy but easy enough to find a nice spot to enjoy the weather and the sun set. Very cute beach. We had a random heatwave in Ireland so it was the perfect place to be during that time! Easy to get to and right next to a train/station. There were also public toilets that were quite spacious and okay to use so that’s always a bonus. Cars could park alongside the road beside the so if you wanted to drive up it’s perfect. Would definitely recommend burrow to go to for kids, families, pets couples etc 🥰 Bloody love this beach. Dog watching 10/10. Beautiful long stretch of sandy with clear waters for swimming. Off the beaten track its a great place to spend the rare sunny Irish days by the One of the best beaches in Dublin access via dart is best option due lack of parking spots . Great for walking the dogs :) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
