I don't understand the bad reviews of this restaurant. It's not fancy or modern, but it's not intended to be. It has a great view, okay food, and polite and helpful waiters. We had a great weekend lunch here with a majestic of the Danube River. Very nice restaurant with a pleasant terrace, next to the Danube river. Very good views from the tables. Lovely food (great soups and grilled fish with vegetables that we ate). Recommended. On the Danube River, you can overlook the Avala Mountain Monument. A good place to watch the sunset is that the sturgeon is salted and put two bags of sugar to save it. for a restaurant called "The View" the does deliver. food is pretty good as well. on weekends it will get real busy around 2pm, so come earlier. The food was delicious. The waiter was polite and gave us a great recommendation. There is a wonderful of the Danube river, but unfortunately it was already dark when we came there. The is amazing because it is located high up above the river, however must pay attention if you take kids with you because there is no fence all along the platou.
