When I went it was very windy, but it's a nice place in a lovely town. There were benches for picnics and good trees to hang hammocks! This is a beautiful, shallow, and family-friendly sandy beach, perfect for a day out either alone or with the kids. There's also a short pier you can stroll along. ​The is surrounded by several mostly pine trees that offers great shade on hot days. If you're lucky enough to visit in autumn, you might even find some mushrooms. 🙂 ​Kids of all ages will love the variety of playgrounds and climbing frames. There are also some hiking trails nearby. ​Parking is easy and free, with several lots available. ​Just a heads-up: the facilities are closed outside the summer season (already in September). Veldig barnevennlig. Brilliant but basic. If you want to upgrade, drive along to Ringshaug Beautiful sites, the water is great to swim in. Det er noen klynger trær der så det er også mulig å finne skygge og gjemme seg for sola. Plenty med parkering på gratis parkeringsplass. Siden det er en veldig langgrunn strand med lekeplass passer den bra for små barn. Ikke egnet for stuping og slikt. Very nice to spend a day on. There are a kiosk and toilets on this place aswell 👌 Parkering is also close by Relaxed Helt suveren plass for barna, langgrunnt og fint. Et ekstra pluss er at det er is kiosk og en lekeplass der også. Eneste minuset er at det til tider kan være vanskelig å finne parkering Camping for free possible, but maximum 6 hour parking with a vehicle...
