Grass down to the water edge then a nice sandy lake bottom. The water is warm and shallow providing lots of space to play/chill. The area was kept quite clean as well. Nothing open, called various phone numbers on display, nobody answers. Waited around for some time before driving 20 mins to another site in the end. After booking online we had to pay at the gate again to get in. This would be reimbursed, however the money was never fully reimbursed, only partly. Very well (over) organized & clean camping. We chose this one because of the positive ratings / reactions. Indeed a great location besides a lake & close to the ferry in Larvik. Convenient but to charge 490 NOK (E.45,-) for one night is just a bloody rip-off and taking seriously advantage. Even for arriving after 21:00. Norway is expensive, yes I know, but this is really the highest ridiculous price to charge for just a couple of hours (we arrived at 21:10 and left at 6:00) for just one pitch (car with rooftent) & 2 shower-coins without electricity/WIFI. Never again! And there was only 1 shower!! A lovely quiet camping on a lake with lots of water activities. Very friendly staff and good, clean facilities. It’s our second time here and we’d gladly stay again.
