Never used the camping but the is our local favorite Really nice owner, large camping site, mainly sandy ground, a few steps from public and really nice spots right on the water. Day guests of public use the toilets which sometimes showed but the showers were great. Beutiful and very friendly staff. Nice view and cozy place. Nice beach, large, nice sand! Reserved place for a tent with electric power (350 NOK per night) for a weekend (Friday to Sunday). Came on site in the early afternoon and hoped we could get a on grass, in the shadows. As we arrived I found the spot, went to the manager to check in and he informed me that he is the one who allocates the spots for tents. A family with a caravan said we could not take the near them because that is reserved for somebody (family or friends). Now it's alomst 9.00 pm and nobody showed up, so the is still available. We went on and despite a lot of spaces in the shadow and on grass we got served with a in the sun, barely shadow in the morning and no grass, but a lot of roots. So, for us, it ruined a beautiful weekend, one of the few with such warm weather here i Norway 🤨 and the few days we have off from work. We won't come back here, that's something we can say for sure. NB: I need to add that we were on this site some days ago and wanted to make a reservation. The manager/owner told us to make the reservation on-line, but beside choosing the days and which category of place you want, there is nothing else. That's why we did the most to get here early but it seems that some of the guests have more privileges than others, or there might be some other explanations, more or less plausible. Five stars for the location but nothing for service and other stuff. We do not recommend this place.😐 Nice camping place and 🤩 My family and I spent 5 gorgeous days at Vøra Camping in May. Staying at the line cabin, with a wide fjord view. Best place to spend the Grunnlovsdagen located only 12 mins car ride from Sanderfjord where all the actions happens. The owner was an incredibly nice fella, very helpful and friendly. The cabin itself was clean and well equipped with a spacious lounge area and big windows coming out to the beach. Undoubtedly worth recommending! We’ll be back soon! Amazingly clear water and sandy beach. Not so much waves, child-friendly beach. Amazing views everywhere and very romanic sunset. A little bit old toilet facilities. Very friendly staff. Quiet and relaxing place. Will definitely coming back.
