The place was empty, yet they insisted on seating us at a table by the cold main door, acting as if we were uninvited guests in their living room when we entered . The staff was arrogant and told us lunch would start at 12 PM, even though we left at that time and the restaurant remained empty. To top it off, they only cleaned the spots with leftover food, leaving sticky marks and glass bottom tracks on the table. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant due to their poor and unwelcoming atmosphere. Lovely atmosphere, very tasty food. I totally recommend it. Nice and huge, so it's often easy to get a desk if you're less than 4 people. Nice selection of food and snacks BUT: The beer selection is very poor. Not even Skopsko is served only some watery beers like Heineken and Carlsberg. Also the Cappuccino was made from powder, which is really not what I expected from such a place. Even the barrista in the park has a better cappuccino. Wonderful, delicious, fresh, and definitely the BEST service. Rupi (his nickname) provided outstanding food and drink recommendations and was attentive to every detail. He was personable as well as professional. The food was very flavorful and fresh, and the price for a large mixed salad, a large vegetable pizza, a seafood pasta, and a glass of house red wine was just under $20.00. As we were ordering, not one full minute after our drinks were on our table. The food was also pretty good. The whole atmosphere was nice also, there was a band playing old macedonian folklore songs which was very pleasant. The prices were ok. Great "kebapi". No flour, just meat. We came from Skopje to eat Veleška pastrmajlija. We had a very bad experience. The owner’s approach was disrespectful and unprofessional. For them, serving spoiled food is treated as something normal — “mistakes happen” — with no sense of responsibility. There was no empathy, no apology. I do not recommend this restaurant, as we left feeling more irritated than satisfied. To them, the place functions like a market — not a restaurant that values service. Worst of all, they treat customers as unimportant, regardless of whether they leave happy or not. The other food we ordered was fine, but then i ordered some fried chicken and it came raw!
